The search for a missing man continues in Armstrong County.
Thirty-one-year-old Cory Cook was last seen Thursday morning. According to reports, Cook suffers from paranoid delusions and hallucinations.
Authorities are concentrating their search efforts along the Allegheny River near the Kittanning Sewage Plant.
Pennsylvania Search and Rescue is assisting in search efforts, which began Saturday. Increased foot traffic and search-and-rescue dogs are expected along Rails to Trails between Water Street and the Kittanning Sewage Plant. Residents are asked to avoid the area to allow volunteers and dogs to operate under optimal conditions.
Anyone with information regarding Cook’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact Manor Township Police at (724) 548-5105 and ask for Sgt. Ashley Rensel or Officer Stephen Daub.
