Seven vehicle accidents were reported in a 24-hour time span on Friday and Saturday.
The run of accidents started at 12:10 yesterday afternoon with a crash reported on Mulligan Hill Road at 12:10 PM. Bolivar and New Florence Fire Departments were sent out. At 1:38 PM, Clymer Firefighters were dispatched to Route 403 North in Cherryhill Township.
Two accidents were reported in the 2:00 hour yesterday, with the first on Route 22 in Burrell Township that sent Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters out at 2:39 PM. The other was at 2:42 PM in Pine Township on Route 403 North. Pine Township and Nicktown fire crews were ordered to the scene by Indiana County 911.
Two other crashes happened in the 4:00 hour. One was on Wayne Avenue at 4:24 PM with Indiana Fire Association members sent out. The second call that hour was two minutes later on Route 286 in Green Township. Commodore firefighters responded.
The final crash was at 12:18 this morning, again on Route 22 with Blairsville and Black Lick fire crews sent out again.
State Police and Citizen’s Ambulance responded alongside fire crews for each call.
The only other call for service reported by Indiana County 911 was for a basement pumping detail at 3:05 PM on Steele Road in East Mahoning Township. Marion Center and Plumville firefighters were on the scene.
