While many are thinking about PennDOT spreading salt and plowing roads at this time of year, the organization is hosting an event that will focus on jobs and internships during the summer months.
An open house recruitment event is scheduled for January 6th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the District 10 office on Oakland Avenue in Indiana. This will be for jobs and internships available in the five-county region, including Indiana, Jefferson, Armstrong, Butler and Clarion Counties. Positions that will be on offer include internships in engineering, scientific and technical fields, non-engineering positions and student summer workers. They are also offering seasonal employment for non-students that include highway maintenance positions.
Anyone interested should apply in advance of the open house and staff will be on hand to assist where needed.
