In High School Girls Basketball last night, River Valley beat Homer Center 49-28. Kennady Kitner of River Valley lead the team with 15 points while Maddie Twincheck had 12. Homer-Center was led by Julia Fabin with 9.
In the Junior High Game, River Valley’s girls shut out Homer Center 52-0.
Marion Center beat West Shamokin 45-37 last night. Macie miller had 21 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 7 assists on the night. Alivia Ruddock had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The KCAC is expected to be busy today with the Mark Arbuckle Classic. Indiana High’s Girls team will start the day against Franklin Regional at 3:30, with the Indiana Boys taking on Dubois after that. Tickets are $5 at the door. You can watch the games on Renda Digital TV, and our play-by-play commentator Pat Dougherty has pledged $2 for every point scored by the Indiana Varsity teams to be donated to the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.
