Leaders with the Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania say their annual holiday fundraiser is struggling this year. Donations for the Red Kettle Campaign have only reached just over half of the goal for 2025 across the region, according to the organization. The group is hoping to see contributions pick up considerably before the fundraiser comes to a close.
For Indiana County, the Salvation Army is now 86% towards its goal at $72,888.89 as of yesterday morning. Envoy Glenn Ooten says he feels they can meet their goal before the red kettle campaign is over.
Kettles will be out until Christmas Eve.
