From the US National Weather Service
A low pressure system advancing through the northern Great Lakes returns rain to the region Thursday. A dry, windy and warm day gives way to rain by late afternoon and evening. Behind the cold front, temperatures drop and snow returns Friday. Gusty winds are expected throughout the day, peaking along the cold front Thursday evening. With low rainfall accumulation and low water equivalent in what is left of the snowpack, hydrologic issues are not expected. Most areas will see light snow accumulations.
