Respiratory illnesses are on the rise across Western Pennsylvania.
The latest data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health shows that flu levels are increasing rapidly, while RSV and COVID cases are also on the rise. While respiratory illnesses are rising, the department of health says the number of emergency room visits in relation to respiratory illnesses remains low.
As always, residents are urged to stay up to date on vaccinations and practice good hygiene habits, such as washing hands.
