State Representative Jim Struzzi is offering assistance for people who may have had some mail from state agencies delayed.
Governor Josh Shapiro recently announced that a vendor responsible for handling outbound mail from some agencies was fired after failing to deliver a significant number of documents. One of the agencies affected by this include PennDOT, who have said that some of the documents that have been delayed include notifications to renew drivers licenses and vehicle registrations, driver’s license camera cards, vehicle registration cards, and address update cards.
A new vendor has been hired and all previously unsent mail should be delivered within the next 7 to 10 days. If you are waiting for anything official and believe the mail has been delayed, you can contact Struzzi’s office and they will try to determine the status of missing material or help contact the appropriate state agency.
