IUP is getting ready for commencement ceremonies tomorrow at the KCAC.
This will be for students who have completed their graduate requirements this month or will do so next month. 459 students are expected to take part in the ceremony, including fifteen undergraduate students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average. One of them is Nevaeh Parente, of Punxsutawney, who is receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in speech and language pathology. He will give the undergraduate address.
The university will confer 289 bachelor’s degrees, 147 master’s degrees, 21 doctorates and two associate degrees.
The ceremony will start at 9:00 tomorrow morning at the KCAC. There will be an increase in foot and vehicle traffic around campus before and after the ceremonies. The ceremonies will also be streamed on IUP’s YouTube channel.
