Gusty winds are expected areawide today, but especially in the higher elevations of the Laurels and Allegheny Mountains where we’re already seeing gusts above 40 mph. Wind is the primary threat for the higher elevations this morning and early afternoon.
Rain there will transition over to snow through the afternoon as temperatures cool, with heavier snowfall expected beginning this evening.
