Two Brookville-area women are charged with child endangerment and related offenses after police say they starved and abused a teenage cyber student who lost about 20 pounds over several months.
Investigators say the boy reported being confined to his bedroom, monitored by cameras, forced to stand or exercise for hours, and at times locked in the basement or duct-taped to the floor.
Authorities say he has been removed from the home, treated at UPMC Children’s Hospital, and is now recovering.
