Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s online nursing program has been ranked among the top five in the state by EduMed.
The ranking highlights programs that balance affordability, academic quality, and strong support for online students. IUP was recognized for its extensive hands-on clinical experience, advanced nursing simulation lab, and strong preparation for the registered nurse licensure exam.
IUP graduates hold a 97-percent first-time pass rate on that exam — well above state and national averages.
Nursing Department Chair Dr. Theresa Gropelli says the university is proud to help address the growing need for nurses and nurse educators. Annually, more than 125 nursing students graduate from IUP’s nursing program, which holds accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
