The Steelers have elevated wide receiver Marquez Valdez-Scantling and offensive lineman Dylan Cook to play today against Baltimore.
Valdez-Scantling is an eight-year veteran who played the first four years of his NFL career with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay and will reunite with the quarterback today. He had four catches in five games with the 49ers this season before being granted his request for release.
Cook is a third-year player who dressed for two games but did not play in either of them in 2023 and who spent all of last season on the Steelers’ injured reserve list.
Kickoff today is at one o’clock.
