GIRLS BASKETBALL
Penns Manor stormed to a 29-4 advantage after one quarter and walloped Conemaugh Valley, 66-18. Josslyn Bennet scored 20 points, Adia Lieb had 14, and Clara Henry 13 for the Comets.
Homer-Center topped Conemaugh Township 39-33. Julia Fabin hit four three-pointers and finished with 16 points. Bekah Marshall added 11 for the Wildcats.
Five girls were in double figures as River Valley raced past Northern Cambria, 72-18. Kenady Kitner led the way with 27 points. Alessia LaMantia scored 15, Maddie Twinchek 14, and Kennedy Cole and Maren Dunlap each had 10 for the Panthers.
Macie Miller scored 23 points and had 6 rebounds and 4 steals Marion Center’s 48-39 win over Cambria Heights. Averi Ruddock had 9 points and Alivia Ruddock scored 8 and had 11 rebounds.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Aaron Webb scored 22 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as Indiana beat Highlands, 70-64 in overtime. Webb was joined in double figures by Will Olsen and Tai Allison, each with 15 points, and Darius Webb had 11.

There’s a good boys basketball matchup tonight on Renda Digital TV as Homer-Center welcomes Conemaugh Township to the Homerdome. We’ll be on the air at seven o’clock.
WRESTLING
Indiana started its season with a big rally, trailing 26-9 before surging back for a 39-31 win over Butler. Conner Servajian’s pin was the turning point. The Indians’ other winners were Evan Kelly, Cash Allshouse, Lewis Sears, Charles Spells, Dominic Donatelli , Dominic Fanella, Jacob Snyder, and Jackson Higgins.
Glendale downed United 54-18. United’s winners were Josef Garshnick, Connor Riffer, and Jacob McConville, all by fall.
