Doris Duella Hutchinson Campbell, 93, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Bethany Place.
A daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Virginia Lambing Hutchinson, she was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Nanty Glo.
Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Indiana High School and had recently been attending Zion Lutheran Church. She owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years. Mrs. Campbell had been a member of Una Rebekah Lodge #292 of Indiana and enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and doing other crafts. She was an avid watcher of game shows on television.
She is survived by five children: Emory Edward Campbell and wife Kathy, of The Villages, Fla.; Robert Joseph Campbell and wife Barbara, of Homer City; Virginia Ann Setlock, of the Villages, Fla.; Kenneth Paul Campbell and wife Dory, of Indiana; and Donald Lee Campbell, of Ernest. Mrs. Campbell was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving sibling of eight children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Royden P. Campbell; five brothers: Leo, Arthur, Jim, Clair and Joseph Hutchinson; two sisters: Lilly Davis and Margaret Draklois.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle Inc, where a funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Allyn Itterly officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Campbell’s name to Bethany Place Patient Fund, 1305 Wayne Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701.
