Conner has been a four-year, two-way starter for us. His combination of size, strength, speed, and tenacity has made him a tremendous lineman. He was a force on both sides of the football. Co-Coaches of the Year
As I look back on the 2025 season, my favorite memory isn’t tied to a single play or a final score. This team got a preseason pick of second place. It was when this football team came together at Little Mahoning after early mornings and late-night practices. We knew as a coaching staff that this team could achieve more. Seeing the leaders step up, the younger guys follow, and the entire team push each other to get better, that was the moment I knew we were going to accomplish something great. This team accomplished a record of 10-2, which is the best record in Marion Center history.
This group of seniors and underclassmen was truly special. They set the tone every single day—with their leadership, their work ethic, and the pride they carried for our program. They were the heartbeat of our team and the steady voices in the locker room. Our staff shows up early, stays late, and pours everything they have into our players. Their preparation, attention to detail, and ability to teach the game at a high level made all the difference. I’m grateful to work alongside them. None of this happens without the dedication of the players and coaching staff. ~ Coach Adam Rising
Long before the season we stressed to our guys that we needed to get tougher physically and mentally in order to get back to our winning ways. I understood based on our past few seasons that we needed to earn the respect back that our program had received over the years. Our kids did everything that was asked of them. We challenged them, and as coaches, we also made some changes that I believe had a great effect. Our staff needed to step and be better.
Overall, we were pleased with how our season went. We won 8 games and advanced to the district semi-finals. We were undefeated at home. Our losses were to teams with a combined 36-4. Three were to bigger AA schools and the fourth to powerhouse BG. We had great leadership from our seniors and they were determined to finish higher than predicted. ~ Coach Greg Page
