Electric prices are now rising across Pennsylvania. This comes as the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has approved of an increase in the generation/supply charge for multiple utility companies.
In the Pittsburgh region, the charge will raise by about ten-percent for Duquesne Light customers and by about six-percent for West Penn Power customers.
The increase goes into effect today, December 1st.
