IUP resumes classes tomorrow, with Finals set to begin a week from Tuesday and winter commencement on December 13th. Except for those taking winter session classes, the main student body will then be off until the spring semester begins on January 20th.
Also, the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education is scheduled to meet on Wednesday at 9 AM, it says, “to consider contractual issues.”
The last regularly-scheduled meeting of the board for 2025 was in October. The agenda for Wednesday’s meeting has not yet been published, so it’s unclear whether the contract to be considered is a labor deal or some other issue.
