The shell for the amphitheater at the White Township Recreation Complex is scheduled for arrival as early as Monday. On Indiana In the Morning earlier this month, Township Manager Chris Anderson said it will arrive in pieces “tentatively on December 1st.”
The pieces will be assembled, and cutouts for wiring and speakers will be made. Anderson says one of the biggest aspects of the project will be the pouring of the concrete stage, which can be done after the shell is up. He says the contractor will wait for the perfect weather conditions before pouring the concrete.
The amphitheater will be located near the soccer fields and parking will be revised so people can easily access it.
