The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is seeking public comment on its plan to address the growth of data centers in the Commonwealth. The plan adopted earlier this month proposes a model tariff for data centers and other large-load customers and encourages them to contribute toward programs that support low-income customers. It also asks these high-demand users to protect existing customers in various ways. Comments can be sent either electronically or by mail to the PUC’s office in Harrisburg.
