Last night, the River Valley School Board approved a memorandum of understanding with the union representing the district’s teachers.
The new MOU concerns a change in compensation for Department Chairs. Board President Rick Harper explains.
Harper also provided an update on the ongoing lawsuit to allow River Valley to separate from the Indiana County Technology Center. He said that a recent settlement negotiation was unsuccessful and a hearing on the matter will be held on December 8th.
The board also approved the resignation request for River Valley High School Principal Justin Kulik and to post or advertise the position as necessary.
