A man charged with indecent assault was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
Court documents show 24-year-old Austin Brewer of Indiana was ordered by Judge Michael Clark to serve two months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail for a guilty plea of indecent assault of someone under 16 that goes back to December 25th of 2023. A second charge of indecent assault was not prosecuted as part of the plea deal.
A two-month investigation into the incident started in March of 2024. It was discovered that Brewer assaulted the juvenile at a home in Indiana Borough’s West Ward.
On top of the prison time, he must pay fines and court costs.
