The Pittsburgh Penguins had a rough night on the road, falling 5–0 to the Minnesota Wild.
Minnesota’s Filip Gustavsson shut down the Penguins’ offense, while Matt Boldy led the scoring with two goals. Pittsburgh managed only three shots in a sluggish first period and never found their rhythm.
Goaltender Arturs Silovs was pulled in the second period after Minnesota extended its lead, with Sergei Murashov taking over in net.
The Penguins will look to regroup as they head into their next matchup today against Seattle.
