First responders were called to a two-vehicle crash Friday night at the intersection of Routes 119 and 56 in Homer City Borough. A 4-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with non–life-threatening injuries and was properly secured in a car seat at the time of the accident. Fortunately, no other serious injuries were reported.
The intersection was shut down in all directions for about an hour and reopened around 9:30 PM.
Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire departments, Citizens Ambulance, and the Pennsylvania State Police were at the scene and PSP said it is too early to determine the cause.
