State police have charged a Kittanning man with sexually assaulting a child over several years in Armstrong County.
Troopers said they received a ChildLine report which said that 60-year-old John Toy of Kittanning had sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl from Ford City that go back to 2020. He was arrested on October 14th, and now faces charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a child, forcible compulsion, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.
No other details on this case have been released. Toy also faces similar charges from a case in 2022. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 28th for both cases.
