Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal structure fire that occurred Monday evening in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.
Jefferson County Coroner Brenda Shumaker confirmed the deceased as 79-year-old Richard Sarver. Emergency crews responded to the fire at 6:55 p.m., with initial reports indicating visible flames, fire spread, and an entrapment at the scene.
Fire and EMS teams from both Jefferson and Clearfield counties responded, and the cause of death remains pending further investigation.
