It is with great sorrow that the family of Maryann (Formeck) Wike passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on November 3, 2025. Just one day shy of her 89th birthday.
She was the daughter of Charles and Anna (Sedlock) Formeck, born November 4, 1936, in Spangler, PA.
Maryann spent her life as a devoted wife to her late husband Raymond of 52 years and homemaker for her two children. She was a proud Air Force wife which allowed for her to travel the world and experience many different cultures, of which Japan was her most memorable. Cherished by many, she had an extraordinary capacity to love, and that love was extended to family, friends, and strangers alike. Known as “Granny,” she enjoyed cooking, watching QVC (cooking with David), painting, and listening to music, while dreaming of striking it rich with publishers clearing house. Granny will be deeply missed by all “watch going”!
She is survived by two children, Coral Castellar and Kevin Wike and wife Herlinda, seven grandchildren, Alysha Castellar, Robert Abel, Megan Wike, Stephen Wike, Julianne Wike, Samantha Browning, Shelby Rush, three great-grandchildren, Santana Castellar, Donald, and Vernon Browning.
