REPORT: PA HOSPITALS SAFER THAN HOSPITALS IN MOST OTHER STATES

A new report claims that most hospitals in Pennsylvania are safer than hospitals in other states.

Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog that keeps track of patient safety, recently released its fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grades report, which ranked Pennsylvania hospitals as the eighth safest for patients in the entire country.

Overall, more than 43-percent of hospitals in the state received an A ranking. The rankings are based off of factors such as patient accidents, injuries, infections, medical errors and more.
