At The Masters, Scottie Scheffler is atop the leaderboard after the end of the second round on Friday with an 8-under-par total, and scoring a five-under yesterday at Augusta National.
Four players tied for second with 3 under par, including Carl Schwartzel, Sungjae Im, Shane Lowery and last year’s champion, Hideki Matsuyama. The story of the Masters this year, Tiger Woods, did advance to the weekend. He finished his second round two-over par to sit at one-over par through the first two days of the tournament. This is Tiger’s first PGA Tour event since suffering serious injuries in a car accident last year.
