The North Huntingdon Police Department is sharing news on the death of a K9 officer.
Officials say K9 Zargo passed away after veterinarians found he had an inoperable tumor. The dog had just completed building search, apprehension, and narcotics detection training a few days ago before showing signs of being sick, according to officials.
The department says Zargo was a loyal partner and gave his all until the very end.
