Local leaders in Greensburg are likely to keep property taxes steady for 2026.
Councilman Randy Finfrock says there are no plans to increase rates for home and business owners as they discuss next year’s budget. City officials will have some work to do, though, as they shift some funding in order to keep paying down the local government debt.
Greensburg leaders are also still waiting to hear whether the state will provide a one-million-dollar grant to cover repairs on the Robert A. Bell Parking Garage. If that money does not come through, the council will have to find those funds somewhere else, according to Finfrock.
