Operators of the Pennsylvania Turnpike are now working with the state Attorney General to get tolls paid by some drivers.
The Turnpike Commission says motorists who ignore collection attempts may now have fees reported to the AG’s law division. More than 100 cases have been turned over to the Attorney General in the last year, adding up to 12-thousand dollars in unpaid fees.
Drivers who have four or more outstanding invoices or who owe more than 250 dollars can also have their vehicle registration suspended.
