DUTCH COMPANY TO LAY OFF NEARLY 200 WORKERS NEXT YEAR

A Dutch company with location in Westmoreland County is preparing to lay off close to 200 of those local workers.

Philips Respironics has informed the state that it will be letting workers go from facilities in Murrysville, Upper Burrell and East Huntingdon. The layoffs are expected to take place between the end of this year and the end of June 2026.
