The Altoona Curve open their season tonight against the Harrisburg Senators at PNG Field. Gametime is 6 o’clock, with neither team having announced a starting pitcher yet. But the Curve certainly have options, with former first-round draft pick Quinn Priester, top prospects Carmen Mlodzinski and Tahnaj Thompson, and veteran Travis McGregor on the staff.
The game will also be the Double-A debuts of highly-rated prospects Nick Gonzalez, Liover Peguero, Jared Triolo, and Lolo Sanchez, and new manager Kierran Matson also has infielder Tucupita Marcano and outfielder Jack Suwinski, who came to the organization from San Diego last summer in the Adam Frazier trade, to insert into the lineup.
