Rodger Allen Stivison, 73, Homer City died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Arista Care at Hillsdale Park. He was the son of the late Howard and Sylvia (Kisamore) Stivison and was born February 5, 1944.
Rodger was a member of the Armagh Volunteer Fire Department and was Vietnam Veteran having served in the United Stated Marine Corps. He was employed by Syntron and was a Civil Defense Director.
Mr. Stivison is survived by his children, Eric Stivison, Port St. Lucie, Florida and Tammy Podgorney, Conamaugh; his granddaughter, Megan Stivison, Richland. He is also survived by his siblings, Kay Elliot, Plano, Texas, Davis Stivison, New Florence and Keny Stivison, Seward.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-6 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held at 6 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Katrina Laude officiating.

Pennsylvania is one of fifteen states that does not require any form of identification in order to vote. Meanwhile, eight states require photo ID in order to vote with no exceptions. What should Pennsylvania do?
