Maureen Lea Jones, 58, Homer City died September 18, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of John Robert “Pud” and Gloria (Cute) Jones and was born December 6, 1958 in Indiana.
Maureen was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City. She loved puzzles and word search books. Everyone will remember her for her wonderful hugs, she loved everyone she met and was always smiling.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria; her brother, Brian Jones and wife Cindy, Indiana; two nieces, Carissa and Mikayla Jones and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her dad, John Robert who died December 20, 2005 and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Clara Cute and her paternal grandparents, Edward and Elizabeth Jones.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City with Pastor Steve Bond, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
