After Homer City and Center Township held trick-or-treating last night, White Township, Indiana Borough, Marion Center and Plumville will have ghosts and goblins out tonight. For Indiana Borough, White Township and Plumville, kids can take part in door-to-door trick-or-treating from 6-8 PM. Marion Center’s will run from 5:30 to 7:30.
Indiana Borough Police say there will be extra police officers out tonight, and not just little ones in costume. They are asking everyone to do their part to make sure it is a fun night. Drivers asked to slow down and allow extra time this evening and to remain distraction-free. And if alcohol is part of your celebration, do not drink and drive. Those walking should also keep the distractions to a minimum; leave realistic or replica weapons at home, wear bright, reflective clothing or carry a flashlight or glowstick; use crosswalks and sidewalks and never step between parked cars; and to go to houses that have their lights on.
