Howard W. Lambing, age 90, of Indiana, died Monday, September, 4, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Son of the late Glen Morris and Carrie Waltimire Lambing he was born March 8, 1927 in Sagamore.
Mr. Lambing lived most of his life in the Indiana area where he worked for Dietrich Industries. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two children Sandra L. Muir and husband Kevin of Bolivar and Howard R. Lambing and wife Denise of Indiana. One sister Thelma Palmer and husband John of Blairsville. Six grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren and Six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy Mae Ferguson Lambing, one brother William Lambing, one sister Altea Little and a granddaughter Bobby Jo Muir.
Friends will be received Thursday from 1:00 pm till the time of funeral service at 3:00 pm at Robinson-Lyle, Inc. where Pastor Paul Price will officiate a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
