The Indiana Area school board will hold a special meeting Monday night with a variety of items on the agenda, among them the further exploration of a potential solar energy project that could involve the roof tops of the East Pike, Eisenhower, and Junior High Schools, and green areas at Ben Franklin Elementary, Indiana Senior High, and the district’s maintenance garage.
The Audit & Finance Committee and the Policy & Personnel Committee are both scheduled to meet before the general board meeting, with discussions including the state and district budgets, and the district’s financial situation caused by cyber/charter obligations.
Marion Center’s school board will handle a large number of personnel items, some policy updates, and two large projects, a new track at Dr. John R. Mallino Stadium and a new dehumidification unit at the swimming pool.
River Valley’s school board will meet on Tuesday.
