PennDOT has announced some roadwork will start Monday in Indiana Borough.
Roadway maintenance is planned for a portion of South 6th Street between School Street and Carter Avenue. That portion of South 6th will be closed, and drivers will be asked to use Carter and Wayne avenues to access the road.
Other work on the project includes the replacement of ADA accessible ramps in the area and extra work on Route 119. It’s part of a $3.1 million project that is being worked on by Quaker Sales Corporation of Johnstown. The work is weather-dependent, but it is expected to wrap up by the end of this month.
