The victims of Monday’s fatal bus-pedestrian crash are being remembered by those who worked with them.
Both 39-year-old Christina Perez of Ernest and 68-year-old Ronald Mabon were killed when they were struck by a bus at the intersection of 7th and Philadelphia Streets in Downtown Indiana Monday afternoon. Perez worked for the Daniel Law Group as a paralegal before going to law school to earn her degree. Jesse Daniel said she was a determined and passionate individual.
Her funeral arrangements are being handled by Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home in Penn Hills.
Ron Mabon was a part of the IUP community since he started his internship with the university’s Publications office in 1979. The university’s Executive Director of Communications and Media Relations Michelle Fryling said that he worked with her for 26 years, and was remembered for his love of his family and for his creativity.
Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker funeral home is handling the arrangements for Mabon.
