Jennie Pezzoni, 99, Blairsville, PA (Brenizer) passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at The Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg, PA.
The daughter of Andrew Pezzoni, Sr. and Margaret (Zerla) Pezzoni, she was born September 15, 1917 in Superior, PA.
Jennie lived most of her life in Derry Township and loved being the caregiver for her mother and father.
She worked 26 years for Chamberlain Manufacturing Corporation, Derry.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Gertrude M. Pezzoni of Brenizer; five nieces and nephews, Mark Pezzoni of Eugene, OR; Geraldine Rossi of Massapequa, NY; Michele Macey of Latrobe; Deborah Territ of Greensburg and Judith Swigart of Greensburg and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Steve Pezzoni and Andrew Pezzoni, Jr. and two sisters, Frances Kratky and Mary Pezzoni.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Kobert officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.

Pennsylvania is one of fifteen states that does not require any form of identification in order to vote. Meanwhile, eight states require photo ID in order to vote with no exceptions. What should Pennsylvania do?
