PennDOT, the Turnpike Commission are getting ready for the winter driving season.
PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll and Turnpike Commission Director of Maintenance Jon DelRicci highlighted the state’s efforts to prepare for the winter season, and urged citizens to be proactive in staying safe during the season. The Department of Transportation is actively seeking temporary equipment operators to work across the state to supplement the full-time staff available. They are also looking for people to fill non-operator positions like diesel and construction equipment mechanics, welders, clerks and others.
