Officials from the Albert Gallatin School District are alerting families to possible contamination of shaved ice served during a school event on Wednesday.
Superintendent Christopher Pegg reported that broken glass and insulin may have come into contact with the ice at the trunk-or-treat gathering held at A.L. Wilson Elementary School in Fairchance.
The district advises anyone who consumed the shaved ice to seek immediate medical care if they experience any unusual or concerning symptoms. Authorities have not yet released information on how the potential contamination occurred.
