Eleanor Jane Buterbaugh, 87, of Carlisle, formerly of Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017.
A daughter of the late Reese F. and Ruth E. Brown Peffer, she was born Dec. 22, 1929, in East Mahoning Township, Indiana County.
Mrs. Buterbaugh had been employed at Season-All for 28 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Buterbaugh enjoyed baking and being with family.
She is survived by two daughters: Judy M. Zolensky and husband Roger Sturtz; and Nancy J. Whitacre and husband Randy; a granddaughter, Shana Zolensky Morrow and husband David; a great grandson, Jackson Morrow; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David N. Buterbaugh; two brothers: Wilbur Peffer and Gerald Peffer; and a sister, Helen Horning.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., with the Rev. Greg Golden officiating. Interment will be private.
