Indiana County first responders were active on Tuesday after going more than 24 hours without a call.
The first call was reported at 1:39 PM for a brush fire along Coleman Road between Olivet and Clarksburg in Young Township. Iselin Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at the time. No word on how the fire started or how much damage was reported in the fire. This marks the 16th brush fire in Indiana County since the start of the year.
Tunnelton fire fighters were also dispatched to help with a landing zone at the Clarksburg Ball Field in Conemaugh Township at 3:28 PM
And Saltsburg and Tunnelton firefighters were dispatched for a vehicle accident on Route 286 west in Conemaugh Township at 6:48 PM. Lifestat EMS and State Police were also called to the scene at that time. No details on the crash have been released as of yet.
