JoBeth (Mumau) Myers, 75, of Marion Center, PA died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.
The daughter of the late Robert J. and Beatrice “Betty” E. (Blose) Mumau, she was born on November 24, 1941 in Grant Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
JoBeth was a graduate of the Marion Center High School Class of 1959.
A longtime member of the East Mahoning Baptist Church in Purchase Line, PA, JoBeth had served her church in many capacities, including being an active member of the Ladies Aid.
One of her favorite pastimes was spending time tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, as well as her orchard.
JoBeth married her husband, Leonard D. Myers on January 13, 1961.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Leonard, of Marion Center, PA; her four children: Robert Myers of Indiana, PA; Joni Toy and husband, Guy of Indiana, PA; David Myers of Marion Center, PA and Charles Myers of Marion Center, PA; her two grandsons: Cody Toy and wife, Chelsie and Dylan Toy and wife, Rheanna and her two great grandchildren: Madelyn and Cara Toy.
JoBeth is also survived by her brother, Murray Mumau and wife, Marilyn of Punxsutawney, PA; her sister, Judy Wanchisn and husband, Paul of East Run, PA and her two sisters-in-law, Peggy Mumau of East Run, PA and Pat Mumau of Marion Center, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers: Gary Mumau and Robert Mumau, Jr.
Family and friends will be received from 1-3:00 p.m and 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where an 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Pastor Mark Brady will officiate. Interment will be at the East Mahoning Cemetery in Purchase Line, PA.
