Bond is being set at $50,000 for a New Kensington man charged in connection with injuries inflicted on an infant.
Twenty-five-year-old Jacob Piontek was reportedly caring for a two-month-old child who was rushed to the hospital last month in what appeared to be cardiac arrest. Reports say it was later determined that the child suffered from seizures and a host of physical issues due to some sort of trauma.
Piontek was arrested this week on charges that include aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children.
