Luke P. Williams, age 33 of Indiana, died Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Indiana. He was born in 1983 to Patrick J. and Catherine Carson Williams.
He was a graduate of Indiana High School in 2002, and was currently enrolled in the Nursing Program at the Westmoreland Co. Community College.
Luke’s passion in life was helping others. He was a member of Cenacolo America, a faith-based recovery
community where he served as a community head in Alabama, and worked as a missionary in Mexico for two years. He served as a Certified Recovery Specialist and was the Sacristen at The Spirit Life Chapel.
Luke had a deep faith in God, and love for people. Every life he touched he made better.
Luke is survived by his parents of Indiana; his fiancee’ Desiree Franey, Indiana; his step-daughter Isabella Franey, Indiana; six sisters – Maria Fruscello and husband Nick, Pittsburgh; Erica McFarland and husband Dave, Pasadena, MD; Colleen Ware and husband James, Boise, ID; Laura Smeby and husband Matt,
Everett, WA; Grace Capone and husband Nick, Indiana; maternal grandmother – Elinor Carson, Indiana; maternal grandfather – Robert Carson, Indiana; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents – Paul and Elizabeth Williams.
Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery
