Charges are being filed against a man accused of supplying the drugs that led to two overdose deaths.
Investigators say that 29-year-old Davi Roman of New Kensington, Westmoreland County provided the drugs involved in the 2023 death of his girlfriend in New Kensington. They say that later – while in custody at the Westmoreland County Prison – Roman possessed drugs that later led to the death of another inmate.
Roman was denied bail during a Thursday court appearance.
